Frame: All-tubular design, 1" diameter, 18- gauge steel. The "H-frame" is de signed with parallel tubing running from front to back of chair. Front legs of the chair and back support are one continuous tube. Rear legs and seat support are also one continuous tube. Tubing is multiple arc welded at four locations where leg rails and back posts are parallel to each other with a min i mum com bined total of at least 1-1/2 feet of total weld, and is done so that the welds are not exposed. Wallsaver designed. Frame is chrome plated after all welding is complete.
Table Arm Support:1" diameter, 16-gauge tubular steel, arc welded together to form a "Y-shape" giving the top support in all directions. Support is multiple arc welded to the outside of the front legs and 3600 welded to the chair back post.
Cross-brace: Two 1/2" di am e ter, 20-gauge tu bu lar cross brac es are in sert ed into the chair legs and run diagonally across chair from front to rear leg. The braces are arc welded at their intersection point and the four insertion points on the legs. Frame is finished after all weld ing is completed.
Standard Chrome Finish: Chrome is comprised of metal layers(Nickel & Chromium) electrostatically bonded to metal. Our standard is 4-6 mills (25%-50% more than our competitors) of Nickel--it will not scratch. Our product is chromed on plateable quality tubing after all welding is completed to prevent rusting on unfinished welds.
Glides: Nylon or steel, your choice. Swivel design, case hardened steel, super silent deep ferrule. All glides make full level contact with floor. Designed so the maximum swivel angle of the glide is not violated.
Seat & Back: 5/8" thick posture contoured solid molded thermoset plastic with smooth molded edges and permanent color throughout thickness. Seat size is 16" wide x 15-1/2" deep Back size is 14" wide x 6-1/2" high. Both seat and back are attached through punched holes in tubular frame using self-tapping screws into four uniformly drilled holes.
Tablet Arm Top: Solid molded thermoset plastic. 14" x 19-3/4" x 26-1/4" with smooth molded edges and permanent color throughout thickness. Pencil groove. Tablet arm is at tached to tubular frame with four plated loops and self-tap ping screws into eight uniformly drilled holes. Specifications:
